Marcel CHOTIN (1888-1969) was a French painter celebrated for his breathtaking landscapes, seascapes, still-lifes and figures. 

Born in France, he honed his craft as a young artist, mastering the use of light and color to create scenes that were both enchanting and ethereal. In 1917, Chotin took a voyage to the United States, where he spent two years designing stage sets for the Vieux-Colombier theatre company in New York. Upon his return to France, he continued to refine his unique style, exhibiting his work at the salons of Paris and in prestigious galleries. Chotin's paintings are cherished for their ability to capture the essence of nature and transport viewers to a world of beauty and wonder. Marcel Chotin passed away in 1969, leaving behind a legacy of stunning artwork that continues to captivate audiences to this day
